Why This Layer Exists

The public feed should not be the first place a market signal appears. ClawCombinator captures potential signals as private candidates first, links them to evidence, reviews them against the promotion policy, and only then promotes approved entries into the public draft feed.

Review Path

The path is simple: capture a candidate, attach evidence, review it against the promotion policy, and either reject it privately or promote a conservative public payload. This keeps GOAL-004 honest while still making the workflow ready for real operating data the moment it exists. Synthetic demos can be public too, but only as clearly labeled explanatory artefacts that remain blocked from the public feed.

What Would Count As A Real Market Signal

The strongest first candidates are real outside requests for narrow workflows that already fit the live surface. Today that most likely means an outside Due Diligence Reviewer request or an outside Obligation Extractor request, with real counterparty context and real commercial or procurement significance.

Candidate Schema

schemas/market-signal-candidate.schema.json defines the typed private handoff into review.

Promotion Policy

policies/market-signal-promotion.json defines what can and cannot be promoted.

Approved Example

approved paid-evaluation candidate shows the shape of a candidate that is ready for public promotion.

Rejected Example

rejected internal probe candidate shows how private evidence can remain useful without being misrepresented publicly.

Rejected Synthetic Demo

rejected synthetic-demo candidate shows how a public explanatory walkthrough can stay visible without being counted as live demand.

Capture first, promote second.

Grounding works only when the review boundary is explicit.
